We set out to design a home that feels as expansive and timeless as the views of Colbert Hills it overlooks. Vaulted ceilings with wood beams draw the eye upward, carrying a sense of warmth and openness from the living room to the covered deck beyond. A stone fireplace anchors the space, echoing the grounded beauty of the prairie.

We envisioned light as a central element, pouring through large windows to illuminate every detail—from the natural textures to the quiet elegance of each room. The flow of the home was crafted with balance in mind: spaces to gather and share moments, and others to retreat and recharge. The lower level extends this harmony, offering a second living space that invites connection and reflection alike.

For us, this home is more than just walls and beams. It’s a place that breathes with the landscape, a reflection of the thoughtful design and boundless inspiration that come from living in rhythm with the Kansas prairie.
